So last night I finally ordered some moped parts off Treatland , new tires, brake pads, new black front shock boots, and a 70cc kit. Spent 220 bucks. And the next day get 15% off code! Dang it.

Shoot!  Can you get a retroactive discount?  You know, effectively do a return and repurchase with the coupon?  Lots of places do that for you.  Couldn’t hurt to ask.

I’d contact their customer service and see if they would apply the coupon to your existing order. Doesn’t hurt to ask nicely, worst that can happen is they say no.

Yes, unless there is a restocking fee.

I saved $150 on my iPhone XR that way when the iPhone 11 came out a week later and prices dropped. They didn’t even bat an eye as they cheerfully made the credit.

Goodwill move that ultimately costs Apple nothing. Good for them. My son had an older iPhone that failed and was out of warranty, but they still swapped it like for like with a new one.

Same for my iPhone 5S. The guy just made the decision to give me a new one on the spot. I was so grateful, I went to the cookie place next door and bought a couple dozen for him and the crew. It was the Christmas rush, and they were getting slammed. It would have been so easy to get grumpy, but they weren’t.

This is how the Apple Stores rolled just a few years ago.  They were empowered on the store level to do generous things to increase customer satisfaction with a premium-priced product.  Things clamped down more since Johnson left Apple, but the employees still do what they can.
